Due to conflicting information from UMAX, Newer Technology is recommending the use of EDO memory.  UMAX‚Äôs website says either FPM or EDO will work.  Their manual says only EDO will work.  The machine that the text you are reading is being composed on is a C600 with a 64 MB FPG DIMM installed.
